Dominion

Dominion

A Poem by J. Dorian
"

This is about eating meat

"

Two billion eyes that never see the light

Four billion limbs that hardly ever move

One billion brains that fear, but neither flee nor fight

Ten billion sores untreated and un-soothed

One billion sacrifices to their Gods

They die un-mourned, unsung

They pray for mercy to the last

And yet We show them none

But I love meat, therefore, I love cows and pigs. Especially pigs. They are the ultimate breakfast. You must dislike carnivores. But at least these animals do not go to waste. And most of us pray before we eat. You never know, we could be praying for the animal's soul. And none of this was sarcasm. :)
