Dream

Dream

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

Take my hand
Follow me into this
Wonderful place I see
Of this dream land
See the things before us
The sun rising in the trees
Feel the fresh spring breeze
Hear the hoof beats
I can see and feel all this
Late at night, mid-day
In the rush of the crowd
All alone in peace
It's more than a dream
It's something we all long for
It's wonderful,
The burning world at ease
The warmth of a child
The joy in winter again
Days full of stress
Asking God to bless the mess
It's a place unknown to us
The real world so cruel
We can't wait to escape
We're still stuck in the race
Following the unfair rule
Take my hand, lets go
Watch it start to be real
Let's reap what we sow
Bring the dream into reality

I agree my friend. We need to find places where we can be happy.
"Take my hand, lets go
Watch it start to be real
Let's reap what we sow
Bring the dream into reality"
The above lines. I tried to do. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
