Lazarus and Andromeda (Paradigm of Tantamount)

Lazarus and Andromeda (Paradigm of Tantamount)

-J.H. Byrd-

I have passed boldly into that distant night,

glancing upon the ethereal.

Ancient, regal, lineal they are.

Persistent are the lucid awakenings;

perceptive are the subjective truths.

Standing upon the bridge, I draw upon the water.

Shifting and inconsistent, my influence remains inconsistent.

This specter is my influence;

no longer are the ruins the remnants of celestial markings,

no longer are the hallow men gathered to lean.

This is the way the world ends.

This is the way the world begins.

Two cosmic giants collide in the eternal,

a brilliant display of lights and rays.

They pass through like two lovers in the night;

for an instance they are beautiful and bright.

Lazarus to Andromeda: I have come from the dead,

from my paralysis I have awoken.

A wave of probabilities collapsed upon the shores

and standing upon the beach I heard your name.

I realized then that not a single path cold lead me back to you,

but many at once.

The deserted streets, once filled with a myriad of splendid things,

The steps and gardens, fruitful but overgrown;

my odyssey was filled with dangers

but here I am, alone at peace.

Walk with me along the beach.

Walk along with me

and forever live in enlightened ecstasy.
