Love

Love

A Poem by Sid
"

This three stanza poem was written from inspiration about the different kinds of love I came to read from a book by John Goode. This poem also incorporates the description of what love is in many ways

"
"Love"

Love protects what love has bore
And then it loves what hearts adore
That differs love of blood and bonds
But selfless love of rings and hands

To age or form what love can be
Is one expressed none cannot see
Love is blind and love is deaf
Weak in time but strong 'till death

Love is love more ways than one
A force as strong and bright as sun
It judges not what it can give
So just receive and just believe

Please help me in criticizing my own work. I am proud of what I wrote but unsure of the capability of my writing skills. And if you have additional stanzas/parts you'd want omitted or added, please do suggest. Thank you many times fold.
