Farewell My Friend

Farewell My Friend

A Poem by JMoo

Farewell My Friend

It's time to say farewell, goodbye
Dear friend departs, we know not why
Her time cut short so needlessly
It could easily have been you or me

A lesson from this life cut short
To look at life with sharp retort
To take each moment full, head on
Both sadness, regret do not prolong

But one chance we all do live
Some make the most in all they give
Farewell my friend I'll miss you so
We spent too little time you know

Regret it not I will now learn
More time with friends, they're hard to earn

A philosopher and poet, nice depth and sage advise. I will only note your flow and rhyme because you have mastered the two and it is reflected in all your poetry. It has been fun binge reading your poetry this evening, thanks again.
