Butterflies Between Screams of Pleasure

Butterflies Between Screams of Pleasure

A Poem by JOe
"

Not the kind that reside in your stomach, but a little lower.

"
Consider this:
A darkened bliss of grass
You close your hands and open them
And a rainbow of butterflies from where you had nothing.

If you don't duck you'll soon be dead
The butterflies they turn red
How could such beauty backfire
When we finally had what we wanted, so dire

Taboo emotions, they could kill you
But really how could any of us be alive?
We all take part, maybe it's not for me
Is this bad luck, or mental disease?

Oh no, don't try to change my mind
I do know, that it won't go well this time
And who cares what you think I need

What I need is to destroy these butterflies.
Or just turn them into something else
Alchemy will be my biggest sin
But it will save me from a hideous death
Caused by something so beautiful

A very intersting poem. I don't claim I got the whole gist( I figured this write to be about pleasure ) but I like it...:)
