Cold Hands

Cold Hands

A Poem by Jabari

Decisions, Choices

Sometimes Misguided

Placed in Cold hands

and hearts even colder.

What am I doing wrong?

Can't dig my way out

this bottomless pit

Dug by the cold hands

that crushed my soul.

Feel the weight on my chest

Like gravity,

force on my eyes

waiting to burst at any moment.

why me?

Karma is real,

except this time

the victim punished

culprit rewarded.
