No Apostle in Reality

No Apostle in Reality

A Poem by Jack Carver

But I am not an Apostle for many saw
The Lord engaged the Devil and survive
I saw him I talked with him and it was no flaw
So now he can show himself to no one live
And them not be an Apostle which is not fair
So me and Paul were not Apostles I see
But me and Paul were not ever even there
In the beginning with Jesus or chosen to be
I am not an Apostle for I was not chosen then
And Jesus can show himself to whomever without
I am just an old man that believes like I have been
And like Paul an Apostle with my power my clout
It was in a figure I meant to say that I am one
And with that the matter should be over and done
