Always Holding Back

Always Holding Back

A Poem by Jacob Brine

She can't dance

She breaks my dishes

She tells me I'm lazy

Because I type too slow

She never calls

But always comes over

While trying to convince me

That she's Annoying

She makes me get her

Almost everything

I can't tell her that I like

Her eyes

Or how her confidence

Makes me shy

I can't tell her lots of things

And I don't know

If she would care

For that matter

But I do know

That I'm happy

While she's

Around
