The Quest

The Quest

A Poem by Jacqueline Murray
"

5 June 2013

"
apple flesh
Shrouded in skin
cries out

to the knife, to the tooth, to the
rusty peeler lying Unused in the back of the drawer

and waits:

This is the lifelong quest
of The seed
burrowed so deep', it doesn't know
which fruit it's in

Well said. It waits to be, as do we.
