You tell me you love me
Sends butterflies to my tummy
I cannot say the same unfortunately
My heart is locked
but please be patient
that's not permanently
You tell me you love me
I'm so Confused as can be
This feeling I'm feeling
How do I explain
You tell me you love me
My heart just feels the strain
Wanting to open so you can see
The feeling burns me I cry in pain
You tell me you love me
Sends thoughts to my brain
A foreign love
All too similar but reserved I remain
When You tell me you love me
I smile a genuine smile
And hope one day I feel the same
