Empty Words and Weak Rhymes.

Empty Words and Weak Rhymes.

A Poem by Ali Shambeel Jafri

It is only when I write,

That I can lose myself,

And it is only in words,

That drip off the nib of my pen,

I discover who I truly am.

Because empty words, and weak rhymes,

Carry the most secrets,

As only the empty can truly hold,

The infinite secrets hiding in blackened hearts.
