Forget

Forget

A Poem by Phoenix

Forget my words

Forget my face

Forget today

Forget this place.

Forget tomorrow

Forget last week

Forget the words

That I now speak.

Forget the moon

Forget the sky

Forget the questions

That start with "Why?"

Forget all the dreams of past

And all the things that didn't last.

Forget the truth

Forget the lie

Forget the love

That's long gone by.

Honestly don't have a clue what this is about. I just finished writing the last poem and immediatly started this. At least it rhymes...

About
I have so many ideas and feelings, and they usually buzz around inside me wildly. When I can gather up enough of them, then a piece of writing emerges and I feel refreshed. more..
