I hate my Good Life

I hate my Good Life

A Poem by Quinn Fletcher
"

A poem written for suburbians who feel their lives are hard, a show that grass is not always greener so to speak. I hope it is universal.

"

I hate my Good Life

I hate how my life is so good

And I am not happy

I hate how I got a loving family when others do not

And do not appreciate them

I hate how I got it so easy when others have it so hard

And I only complain

I hate how my family’s all together when others fall apart

And I only wish they’d go away

I hate how I have so much money when others have little

And I spend it on junk

I hate how I have so much free time when others have none

And yet I never seem to have enough

I hate how my life is so good

And I am not happy
