i like how the entire poem is a paradox....

and this happens when we start sending poems out for possible publication...we have to be ready for a high percentage of rejections...many more of those than acceptances...but if we can take it, we can make it...eventually.

here's one for you....i got a rejection once....hand written, just one word in quotation marks..."Nope"---that was it...such a tactful rejection....i saved it...

Very good advise but the title is an antithesis. Ones writing might fit the above criteria but it can always be rejected.

good acrostic with sound advice. I always try to do that. but why rejection?

I sent off a few for publication and got my first rejection today. I guess that's a big day in any writer's life. Just trying to have some fun with it.

ooh I'm sorry to hear that, James. but you already know that many great writers were rejected at first before recognition.
