There's a spider on my window sill

There's a spider on my window sill

A Poem by James

There's a spider on my window sill.
I try to be brave but can't be still.
I shudder and flutter and shake in my chair,
I close my eyes but I know he's there.
He's sneaky and eeky and very creepy.
He won't go away and I'm so so sleepy.
He hangs around, stalks and spies.
I know he sees me with all his eyes.
He sits and waits for me to doze
so he can creep over and up my nose,
or in my mouth or down my ear,
patiently waiting so he can hear
all my dreams of fun, fun places
and replace them with nightmares
and scary faces.
Now I don't see him, what do I do?
I'm stuck in this chair, I'm scared to move.
