SEE YOU SOON

When we found out you were coming

  our eyes filled up with tears,

Waiting for that day

that you would soon be here.

 

We were so excited,

waiting with anticipation,

For the day of your birth,

what a joyful celebration.

 

Then one day we found out

that your heartbeat had stopped,

Words can't express

just how our hearts dropped.

 

Not knowing what had happened

or the reasons why,

We wouldn't get to hear

the sound of your first cry.

 

God took you home to be with Him

you'll hear the Angels sing,

As our Heavenly Father gives you

 a little set of wings.

 

We know that you are safe

and in the arms of Jesus, 

As He puts in charge His Angels

to watch over you for us.

 

Unborn babies are tucked

in the Oracles of God,

Running,laughing and playing

where only Angels trod.

 

They're waiting for their loved ones

to get to Heaven's meeting,

That day they'll come running

with a warm and happy greeting.

 

So we'll see you in our dreams

when we close our eyes at night,

We'll hug and cuddle with you

as we hold you oh so tight.

 

Dreaming of that day

when we'll get to see your smile,

We'll all be there to meet you

in just a little while.
