My soaring heart...

Love's Flight...

It is a gorgeous morning,
and the birds of the sky are singing,
preparing themselves to embark on a,
masterful journey into the great unknown,

My beautiful feathered friends, will be in search
for food and shelter, and my heart will be a tag along,
scavenging for love,

I will need to adopt some of their keen senses
their eyesight, they use to navigate there flight,
and find food and shelter, I will need to use open eyes
to spot my future wife,

I will also need their, drive and determination
they use to weather any storm, wind, or obstacles,
I will use to stay the course, never giving up no matter the,
trail or tribulations,

I will allow these amazing animals to teach me,
a little about themselves, as I too learn more about
myself,

When the day comes to an end, I pray that my friends
of flight, will endure the day with ease and find all the,
necessities needed to live comfortably,
and I too able to find that ever evasive love,

Love is not just something my heart desires,
Love is a something my heart absolutely needs,
and my heart will be soaring far and wide until,
I find it,

Today is the beginning of
Love's Flight...

We can learn so much from animals, let it be birds or lions or dolphins. And they are so intuitive about the changes in Mother Earth...the changes of seasons or natural disasters. They know exactly when to go and where to go. And maybe we can learn a thing or two from them about love.

Oh, I love your poem. The ending lines are just perfect. One thing though: you might want to remove some commas where they shouldn't be at, like after 'a', 'since', and 'their'. I think you poem would still flow smoothly even if you don't put commas after those words. Overall a nice read - sweet and filled with so much hope. Thanks!
