We have never met

The friendship we have amazes me

I long for the day we meet

 

We have shared so much

You have told me your thoughts

Your feelings, your woes

I too have shared mine

 

It’s incredible how we clicked

The first time we spoke on the net

Like long lost buddies

Yet I feel you are such a dear friend

 

My feelings for you grow each day

As we get to know each other more and more

I am falling for you..I need to tell you..

I already have!

 

I long to hold you

I long to smell you

I long to kiss you

I want you to be mine, my dear sweet net friend.

This is an amazing poem. With the internet growing I think a lot of friendships and relationships are coming from the webs.
I kind of like it, you can talk to anybody in the world.

I can kind of relate to this. I met somebody through a chatting site a couple of years ago; we talked every day, long in to the night. Unfortunately, we haven't spoken in a while now. Hardly ever. It kind of sucks. But it was a very nice poem and portrayed that sense of longing for someone that you get along with. Cleverly constructed and lovely to read.
