Everything at once.
Overflowing
storm drains
of feeling.
A world spotted
with people
like dams
bursting at
the seams.
We rely
on our hearts
for heat,
revolving around
them like our
own star
in our chest.
Everything at once.
Making our
skies overcasted
at the mere
thought of
quiet.
We are
flooding;
we are
clouded;
forever
reaching
