I'm sure there's a simple explanation

for this irrational tantrum

that I throw.

I'm sure there's a fair consequence

for this almost unthinkable

behaviour

that when you told me you couldn't stand it

and when you threatened you would leave

if there was only a reason for this madness

I'm sure we would coincide and agree

Were we trying to bruise and belt

one another 

and take nonsensical beatings 

to our hearts

Were we cramming our spirits

closed with a lid

and were we clenching our fists up

from the start?

How can this happen with time...

to think, that I once blushed at your call...

How can it be that we were somewhere in between,

and then forget it and let it fall?

oh why did we,

why did we,

bother at all?
