Apologises Accepted & Await The Arrival Of The Oleaster.

A Poem by Jason S Breed

The third man from the emulsioned wall has come to haunt him
They both stand nervously as he has sought the others advice.
The platted, blonde haired man was another ghost who had returned from the girls bedroom wall.
Secretly envious of her affections for this hero from yester-year
He now stands as a friend.
They both talk in harmony,
Speak and both listen.
The cold beer slips down each others throat as they discuss
The fate of the Leyandii,
The tales of badgers and their night time feasts.
Pictures from the wall show a fruitful and full life.
Tales of levee breakages,
Blonde beauties in America
And ghosts from the emulsioned wall that were too shy.
The conversation stops.
The choice made and the garden awaits the arrival of the Oleaster.
The scene then fades
And at nightfall a black & white beast
Feasts on a midnight feast left by the fence.
