Meditations on an abandoned school.

Meditations on an abandoned school.

A Poem by Jason E Spitz
"

Several short-form poems about an abandoned school.

"

Rows of desks

Covered in a snow

Of paint chips

Frozen spider

Form of horror

In white crystal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A room of dusty tables
Smudges of paint
From tiny fingers
Dried tubes of crimson and blue
Rock hard brushes near the sink
A pile of broken crayons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jars

Grotesque eyes

Bulging

On the dirty wall

Peeling paint

And Einstein rides a bike
