A Poem by J
"

Haven't been on this for forever, it seems. A quick scribble written moments ago, nothing more.

"
Toward the understated, the finesse of knowing
when to break a certain moment beyond the hold
another's presence gives because
You are alone in a crowded room, lassitude
giving your eyes a certain freedom I know to be
innocent in their gravity, spirited in a mercurial way
That flashes from ocean to fire, and back to an array
of spinning mirrors I would fathom if only I could,
if only myths would become real instead of
A subconscious element reflected
in my own, admittedly confused
sense of joie de vivre.

What a joy, a surprise blessing to see you here and read your scribbles. I was gone for ages too, months really. But have been hanging around again and trying to post and read a little as time permits. I have way too many sites to hang out in one for very long...but I always come back:-) Peace and blessings J

thats pretty gorgeous for a quick scribb, I like how the first paragraph was all vague floating set up so the revelation of the second could pound in numerous nails. So very tight full and pretty.

At first I didn't understand...Now I get it. And I like it, a little scared to turn around...but I'll live. You certainly have a way of making a person see what you want them to. Nice job!
