Roaming

Roaming

A Poem by Owlman
"

Redo of my poem Roaming (2012) I put "poetry", because there isn't a spiritual genre...

"
I long to be free.
It's not a want or necessity.

Its not from oppression or tyranny.
Nothing is holding me back, no one pushing me down.

But everyday I feel as though I am in a cage,
Not really living, but just getting by.

And that bothers me the most.
I do not feel that I am living, though here I am flesh and blood.

How can one be so lost, yet so real and here.
Not knowing when to quit, not knowing if I started.

I roam this planet...forever lost.

Author's Note

Owlman
I have never had any training or knowledge on writing,
I have just been writing since 2001 or so,
If you want to review, by all means I will be honored,

I do not however need reviews about capitalization/spelling.
Thank you.
