I'm 1/2 Ojibwa. My grandmother would sing to me in her native song. She spoke little of her young life. She was took away from her tribe and forced into the white man schools. She never forgave them. Thank you for keeping alive a beautiful language. Should translate for the Navojo knew the spirit of life and could educate the people who would listen. Thank you for the poem.
