Stuck By A Thorn

Stuck By A Thorn

"

Eh.

"
I can feel the tension and it's only so far. Our lips, my lips, want yours. But when the morning breaks, I am so content, with just the sun rising, with just us two.
I am sorry, but it's a difficult relationship I found. It is not our time, nor mine. We are three different people.
I find comfort in my hands, the layer of hair that covers my pores. Hamlet proved it first, sweetheart.
Like I knew, it never worked. It's like putting a rock and a flower together.
I'd rather be encompassed by sand in every way possible. My feeling overcomes your urge. The incompatible perfection you prose in the atmosphere you were accustomed to weakens me.
But if any attempt, the sun changes, and the stars align, possibility is restored. And I will seek thee not for comfort, but the wall next to me to lean on when my feet are tired.

Door after door, the golden TWIST. Turn and twist.
Gold! GOLD. Aye you. Drowning my mind. Too much. I've been holding my breathe for too long. The ride just begun.
