Bird Breaths

Bird Breaths

A Poem by Matt
"

chirp

"
Society is keeping us alive
Through the burns and laughter.
Through the pigeons dying and
War elevating.
Society is keeping us alive
For the sake of remembrance,
For the homeless and starving--
Our eyes watering.
Society is keeping us alive
So we don't know what's better,
So bee's can pollinate and
Consumers run rampid.
Soon society will let us die,
And it'll be the most
Beautiful sight.
Crime will heighten,
Blood will be spilt,
And creamy love will paste the air.

it sounds chaotic, melodic and ironic all wrapped in one package...

loved these lines

And it'll be the most

Beautiful sight.

Crime will heighten,

Blood will be spilt,

And creamy love will paste the air.
