My Place in History

My Place in History

A Poem by Jax
"

Let's say i was in a band, i would name my first album "What You See in the Mirror" it'd be about how people see themselves compared to how society seems them, or something like that. enjoy

"
Cue the lights
and push the buttons
You have the rights
but you lack the funds
one of a billion lines
easily erased, excluded
i just rack up the fines
stamped out and intruded

I want to, I want to
Claim what is mine
i chose you, i chose you
too steep to climb
i want to be remembered

no way to get the recognition
Acting's stage has no admission
the parties of high neglect to bring
anything useful to a being
i may try more musical endeavors
flat notes bring up frenzied measures

I want to, I want to
Claim what is mine
I close you, i chose you
to build me a shrine
so i can be remembered

I want to, i want to
Claim what is mine
What to do, what to do
Threaten and in time
I Will be remembered
