Seeing The Lights

It's about addiction and all of it's consequences

I'm outside of my own body

Tripping but higher and higher

I'm throwing my own life away

But just one more second

Another chance to reach the heavens

It's not in my head

What I love is real

Hell and me in a Faustian pact

But I'm winning in the deal

Empty my veins

Take my soul

Devour what's left

Leave the pain

But let me see the gods once again

I'm staring at the photos

Hoping the images will change

I'm sure I'm less than human

What I am is strange

But ever closer to my own heaven

It's not in my heart

What I love is monstrous 

My conscience begins to crack

Playing the torturer 

But let me see the light, one more time
