I Cry To

I Cry To

A Poem by Jay O Gibbs

Who's to say a man can't cry,
When he shows his emotions,
You don't know the pain inside him,
Or how long it took him to swim through the ocean,
Only to drown numerous of times,
No one to give him a hand,
So he swam through the waves,
Until he got upon the sand,
Finally reaching his peak,
Gasping for air,
Crying out his pain,
The feeling of no one who cares,
Never knew how to swim,
But he's not afraid to take another dive,
He always been a fighter,
Do whatever he has to in order to survive,
Judge him all you want,
That doesn't make him a baby,
Only a man who's not afraid to cry,
From what he's been going through lately,
He knows one day his day will come,
When weight is lifted off his shoulders,
He finally seen the light,
And the pain is not finally over,
You don't have to accept the fact that he cries,
He knows what kind of man he is,
Your opinion doesn't affect him,
As long as he appreciates his subsist,
