The Demitasse Of Tepid Tears

The Demitasse Of Tepid Tears

A Poem by The Jay

I've lost the right,
Right that I never had,
Had it so you could,
Could have read my silence,
Silence and the violence that flows,
Flows through my veins,
Veins that have dried up of,
Of not being felt,
Felt the way I feel your's,

I wish I had the right to cry,
I wish I had the right to get angry,
I wish I had the right to fear,
I wish you knew I am human,

I get lost,
Lost if I'm found,
Found in what I've lost,
Lost in the speed,
Speed of time,
Time which outraces,
Outraces me,

I wish I had the right to cry,
I wish I had the right to get angry,
I wish I had the right to fear,
I wish you knew I am human,

Lost in the time,
Time which outraces,
Outraces me to my way,
My way back home,
To my way back home,
Outraces me to my way back home.

Demitasse of Tepid tears ?
You have lost the right ?
Take your time. OK ?
Time is relative, so call a relative .
I dunno , you stumped me.

I found the way you ended and began each line a little confusing, but it still feels like it has a good feeling to it when I read it. Good job
