Alone

I wish to go far, far away
And sit amongst nature alone.
A place where there's no one
To listen to the pains I own.

I trusted people
Friends, family, relatives
The self-centered morons.
But they ignored and left me
In my heart
Seeds of mistrust they sown.

All I feel now is hatred
Towards everyone and everything
Suffering has become
My life-long companion
Now I don't wish to possess anything.

I have loved
From the bottom of my heart
And poured my soul's effort.
Betrayal is all I got in return
My world now seems to be a desert.

Thirsty and dry,
I am roaming about
Questioning the cycle of life.
Is this moment temporary?
Or there's more to see?
I don't know much
I can bear.
