Liquid Thoughts

Floating Away

On a sea of dreams

Childhood never lasts forever,

And life isn't what it seems.

 

Butterflies and angels

Flowers...love

eventually one sees,

the emptiness of Above.

 

Clouds and ribbons

rainbows...imagination

All fade to greys and blacks,

As one loses Inspiration.

 

The darnkness of Men's Hearts,

the waves of hate.

Seem to grow stronger...

Heavier than a lead weight.

 

When you are younger,

you are free from the chains.

Until you gorw older...

you are Oblivious to the pain.
