Perfectly Imperfect

Perfectly Imperfect

A Poem by simpleromantic

Now we cross the congested road.
Let's go where we wanted to go.
This path we have not known.
We're gonna keep moving on and on.

At top of this summit.
Embracing the cool breeze.
Reflected in radiant sunlight.
It amaze me, how sweet your voice can be.

What is beautiful anyway?
They put ideals of beauty is something a girl needs to be.
A set of letters strung together to make a word.
But honestly, forget that, don't be beautiful.

Don't look at the mirror.
Just look to my eyes instead.
Don't change anything.
Just stay the way you are now.

What if  I can erase all of your worries?
Would you believe me?
Everything about you is just right.
So relax, no need to think anything else.

Maybe this is the only chance.
May I softly hold your hand?
Every time I touch your hand.
This is how galaxies collide.

You always have something to say.
You are not simple, far too complex to define.
I open the dictionary.
I want to know but still I don't know.

There are billions of people in the world.
You are perfectly imperfect.
And yet you are beautiful.
For being unapologetically yourself.
