deep in the middle

deep in the middle

A Poem by moo to the world

as the final kiss came
i knew it was but a few days
 but my anchor was gone
and the sea was going nuts,
                                         rocking,
                                                    spitting,
screaming like the hounds of hell

     and i was alone
deep in my pit there was a switch
and i could not commit
      to but one prose
a million lines of everything that tortures me

how am i to sleep in our empty bed
when all i wanna do is burn it down

     how am i to breath
when all i want is something to end

the last leaf fell with the snow
and i just was a puddle on a cold plastic floor
wishing a million of you could cover me like hot summer bees
and shake till you warm me

but its winter
the house is empty
except the riot in my head

and me curled up like a rag
  wishing you were home

So well penned 'moo to the world' :D
The loss and the dawning or the anticipation of loss - premonition if you will are equally as devastating I felt.
'the riot in my head...and me curled up like a rag' - agonising and familiar.
