Travesty and Tragedy

Travesty and Tragedy

A Poem by The @rtist
"

For those failed first-day of school romances. :)

"
I.
To have a time machine is all that I pray,
So I could go back in time to make you stay.
I think my loneliness will be the death of me,
And now I'm not as happy as I used to be.

II.
It's hard when you lose the one who means everything,
Because as of now, I am literally nothing.
But you are not the one to blame for leaving me,
I know it's my fault and for that, I am sorry.

III.
We could've been perfect but the timing wasn't right,
I was nothing but darkness and you were my light.
Our love was a mess and a big travesty,
I ruined it all to a total tragedy.

IV.
I know I did you wrong and I'm sorry for it,
And I don't expect second chances since it's too late.
But it's not wrong or late to remember the fun,
The first day of school, where our journey began.
