Groundhog Day 2

Groundhog Day 2

A Poem by Jeff Miller
"

The same assignment as before, but I helped a classmate write his. He really only wrote like 5 lines, but we co-wrote this piece. Skyman, also known as Skylar Hudson, on WritersCafe.

"

Reoccurrence Repetition

The old becoming the new

The fabric of time

Has lost its glue

You start to wonder what’s true

Does one and one really make two?

Is the sky really blue?

Is everything I see real?

No longer will time help my wounds heal

Has time stolen my will?

Life no longer has a thrill

Do I still have a spirit?

I speak an echo but do I really hear it?

Is this worth a struggle or should I submit?

Reoccurrence Repetition

A never ending condition

I don’t have a choice in submission

My dreams no longer come to fruition

How do I live knowing my life will have no addition?
