Future

Future

A Poem by Jen_ma_cat

I'm not afraid of death
I'm afraid of the road that leads to it
I'm afraid of the future
In this current moment I can turn my head
Left and right
Everyone I love is by my side
But will it stay like this forever?
I would rather not find out
The small hearts breaks
Are things i can live with
But in the future
What will they accumulate to?
Will sand fall between my fingers
And i wither away with the wind
Becoming one of many
I'm afraid of tomorrow
If only yesterday could repeat itself
I want to
Stay
Young
Forever

You are very wise. Logical statements in the poem.
'I'm not afraid of death
I'm afraid of the road that leads to it
I'm afraid of the future"
I understand the above lines and the ending is a real goal to keep. Thank you Jen for sharing the excellent poetry.

About
Well I guess I'm a junior now. Am I ready? Ha, no. I don't post often, only when I feel inspired. I'm 16 years old and I might be the only 16 year old on the planet who wishes they weren't. I like art.. more..
