Stupid

The world we live in is...
I guess the word is stupid.
So materialistic and shallow
No one cares about the individual
No one cares about personality
Or originality or individuality.
Why is it like this i wonder?
These are things i ponder.

Stupid stereotyping... The only word that comes to mind is stupid. Why judge people for what's on the outside?

i agree one hundred percent.. we're so far over our heads that we don't even know how we got to this point anymore.
Individuality.. i speak about it in some of my poems. i'm from india, where Society is the norm, and very strictly followed, though not required by law.
you see people keep hurting themselves just to fit in.. and when they do, and they've lost another piece of themselves yet again, that's when they are content. till the next time they have to fit in.

well Jenna, I think you just have not met the right people yet. There are plenty of people out here, myself included, that think personality, originaliity, individuality are the only things that are important. The other wears off rather quickly and leaves you with nothing. continue reaching though.
