My Paper Heart

My Paper Heart

A Poem by Jenna

I'm so delicate,

You should know

Yet you toss my heart

To and fro.

I unfolded

My paper heart for you,

Then you go

And rip it in half.

Now I'm left lonely

With a torn heart.

I like the imagery you use. I can totally see a heart ripping in half like a piece of paper and I can even hear it. Just the mental image I got in my head when I read it. :) It really was good, Jenna Bear. You are a great writer. Glad I can read your stuff.
