God Damned Key

God Damned Key

A Poem by Jen

It's the real deal,
Girl, you've got sex appeal
I just wish you could know
The way that I feel

It would seem
That the more that I dream
The less i'm seen
I wish we could have been

I'll dry all of your tears
Relieve you of your fears
Whisper into your ear
The things you need to hear

It won't ever be
This much I can see
Won't ever be a you and me
Where is the god-damned key

I'd kiss you a thousand times
Write you a million rhymes
And if I had a trillion dimes
I'd give it all to you
If it meant that i'd have you

I don't have a clue
According to you
But girl if you could only see
What you do to me

Make me alive
And not want to die
Wipe away my tears
I don't want to cry (anymore

I need you
To hold me close
To hold me tight
To be there forever

Where is that god-damned key.

A excellent poem. The description and flow of words led to a perfect ending. A outstanding poem.

I like this.
It's kind of edgy in a pessimistic way, which is just the way I like it.
