Heart Full of Hate

I need to get over somethings, some people from my past... Ahhhhh.

As much as I love you

Your heart is filled with hate

I'm still hurting, too

And I hope it's not too late.

 

I know you hate me now

And I wish that I could change it

If you would only tell me how

With you I would sit.

 

When I think of you

I am in constant pain

The only thing that I can do

Is try to keep myself sane.

 

Many will assume that I speak of them

But only one is true

You will always be a gem

No matter what you do.

 

I can pretend to hate

And act like I'm over it

But I would just suffocate

And take another hit.

 

I guess what I want to say

Is that I'm not over you

I wish it didn't come to that day

But, what more can I do.
