Siblings

Siblings

A Poem by Jessi Goetzke
"

This is about my relationship with my brother. We are very close as you may be able to tell.

"

“Siblings”

I don't know if it was fate

Or maybe just a coincidence

But me and my brother

We were meant to be.

We read each other like an open book

And keep each other in line.

Sometimes we do fight

But It’s easier said than done

We have a sort of understanding

That no one else can get.

But take my word for it

We are one in the same.

Jumping from topic to topic

We could talk for days.

From tacos to trucks

And everything in between.

I see him as my hero

As he has saved me many times

From life itself

To just a paper cut

We were meant to be.
