Lying to myself

 

Don't you just hate the truth

 

Sure its good to be honest

But what harm does a little lie do

Nothing, but cover up the hurtful truth

Yes I'm honest but why hurt your feelings

Am I right or wrong?

Well today I decided to tell you the truth

 

When you sing, its so soothing

 

Your attitude isn't bad either

 

The way your hair looks when you try to do something new,

Always comes out great

 

Did I tell you that you have a gorgeous smile?

But yeah, you should smile more often

 

When you try to draw, it all comes out perfect

In fact everything you do is perfect

Your so pretty and skinny

All the boys love you

Just about everyone loves you

And if you hear someone say something bad about you

It doesn't hurt you

 

Thats great Im just like you, huh

Cause when it comes to fitting in

Your like the star of the group

 

Well I got a confession to make

Everything I just said was a lie

Hey, at least I was honest on that one

No one says when the truth will come out

Or when the lies will stop

HA!

Don't I love the way I lie to MYSELF!!
