A Lonely Desperate Illusion

A Lonely Desperate Illusion

A Poem by That1Nerd23

We never talk or embrace,
I am beginning to forget your face.
Slipping into a masquerade;
A lonely, desperate illusion.

Writing you letters never sent,
Showing you how much you meant.
All drifting away as if to say,
Our love is but a vapor.
