Still the little girl

Still the little girl

A Poem by Jessi Raine is falling

No matter which way you look at me

No matter how i turn

Im still the same little red head i was when you last looked

I may be older, a little more mature

But inside my heart im still a little girl

Free in spirit, mind, and soul

Daydreaming of meadow wedings to the boy in the front row

Yeah i may seem taller, stronger, and faster too

But deep down inside, im still me

Still that little girl

Your words are beautiful and sweet. When I look at my 14 year old daughter. I try to find the little girl who held my hand always in the mall. Scare to be alone. I like the feel and the emotion of the words in the poem. We need to hold on to youth. We have too much time to be old already. A excellent poem.
