A Poem by Jessica Willmott
"

A short poem about life and love and lust.

"
The way our hands connect is magic;
Our fingers lace and tie with knuckles for bows.
I stare at our hands, our digits, and smile.
This unit is something not many know.

Your lips, cracked as they may be, moisten against mine,
I can taste the only world I want to belong to in the crevices of that mouth,
And I find them still puffy and red when my lips, in likeness,
Begin to travel south.

Your eyes hold my enticed gaze as I seep through the void,
Bite the quivering flesh and hold between my swollen gums.
The thunderous shudder explodes through you, and I feel it,
As the taste drips on my golden tongue, and I lunge.

Beautiful poem! Very metaphorical. I especially love the line how your fingers laced and tied with knuckles as bows. I never would have thought of that!
