Set My Mind Free

I am currently suffering from serious writers block!!! I need help!

I feel physically and emotionally tired

lacking that drive that keeps me inspired.

I long to write something, anything at all

A poem, a story, to kick to down this wall

Though I try, the words won't come out

They scream from inside me, a silent shout.

I long just to see them upon any page

For the pen is my actor, the paper my stage

It's not lack of content for why I can't write

But my brain shutting down just out of spite.

So if you could answer, this sincere plea

Please help me overcome this, to set my mind free.
