Safe Place

I have no words to describe
what it feels like to lay in your embrace
The warmth of your skin relieving my chill,
the familiar sent of just you,
your gentle kiss upon my lips, good night
your breathing soft and calm in my ear,
your steady heart beating like a musical drum
playing a soft melody until I am finally asleep,
I have come to rather enjoy this place
Its as if nothing can get me here
for with you I know I am safe.
